Accentuous Electrolysis owner Barbara Berube lives in Benton, Maine. She enjoys the simple things in life like  nature and gardening.

Certifications and Qualifications

Barbara graduated from the Electrology Institute of New England, and became a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) shortly afterward.   She is also a member of the American Electrology Association.

She has been an electrologist since 1993. More than 28 years later, she attends seminars to continue her education. “I love what I do. I feel like I make a difference every day, helping women and men feel better about themselves, building their self-esteem. and confidence. It is my commitment to you to be honest and professional, to offer you uninterrupted treatments, and give you quality electrolysis care. I’ve recently updated my epilator to give you the best treatment possible. 

She practices three types of hair electrolysis treatment:

• thermolysis – destruction of the hair follicle with heat using alternating current
• galvanic – chemical concentration at the root with direct current
• blend – a combination of both
